Watuppa Rowing Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides opportunities for high school students in the Greater Fall River area to learn to row, race competitively, and improve post-secondary prospects for students.
We began our life as the Bay Coast Rowing Center in 2018 but have re-branded as the Watuppa Rowing Center to highlight our unique location.
Watuppa Rowing Center is conveniently located on the South Watuppa Pond in Fall River, Massachusetts. The pond consists of 1,550 acres of non-tidal water. South Watuppa Pond is one of the few rowing sites in the United States approved for Olympic trials. We want to partner and share our water with all rowers, clubs, and schools in the area.
From teens to masters, military vets to para athletes, to those training for the highest level of competition, we are building an inclusive and exciting rowing center. We’re new…come grow with us!
From learn to row summer camp to competitive crew teams racing throughout New England, we’ve got the program for students in grades 8-12 in Greater Fall River.
Whether you’re interested in racing, getting fit, or just having fun with friends, our coaching staff is adept at coaching all ages. Join us during one of our “bring a friend” or join for a 5 week session.
Our student-centered programming is free-of-cost to rowers, We’re able to continue our mission of accessible rowing through the generosity of donors like you
